In Product Strategy, you need to be naturally curious about the psychology and sociology of human beings. You need to want to understand what makes people tick and you have to be willing to walk in their shoes.
The most obvious way to achieve this is by talking to your (potential) customers. By conducting well-thought-out user interviews right from the start, and not only after your product had been created. You can gain a really good understanding of what people want to achieve, what they are looking for, and what their pain points are. These findings will give you invaluable insights to craft your strategy.
In our template, you find an empathy map that will help you structure the insights you'll gather.
